We’re back from an exciting trip to National Bridal Market. I love just about every aspect of my job; but, attending market is one of my favorites. It can be an overwhelming experience that I don’t take lightly. I always strive to curate a diverse mix of styles, textures, and silhouettes for our brides. Staying on task and on budget is always a challenge because of the endless options. Just imagine thousands of square feet jam-packed with gorgeous, sparkling gowns and accessories. For some, it can truly bring on sensory overload.
The March Bridal Market shows collections for Fall/Winter. The August Bridal Market shows collections for Spring/Summer. I am in love with what I saw for Fall/Winter 2022. The bohemian trend is transforming to what I call a “bohemian-light” look. Thank goodness, the exaggerated, puffy sleeves are headed out. I’m so happy about this because very few women can pull-off that look. In it's place are slimmer bishops the layered lace and fitted, sheet lace gowns with long sleeves and open backs. We also saw lots of dresses with removable overskirts, and, classic, minimalist gowns. Historically, the minimalist looks have prevailed during times of economic depression. Elevating the minimalist trend, many designers featured gowns in comfortable crepe jersey with beading, corseted bodices, and gorgeous angel trains. We can hardly wait to receive our choices from Stella Couture and Moonlight.

Mothers, we did not forget about you. We are passionate about the moms at Finery Bridal. In our opinion, LaFemme brought the best of the best in MOB/MOG gowns. Not too sexy or frumpy, LaFemme had a plethora of options in sumptuous textures and colors. They have over 260 options! I only wish we could have bought them all. We especially enjoyed the LaFemme models and staff. La Femme is an amazing team.
